हिन्दुस्तान में राजस्थान एक ऐसा राज्य हैं जहॉं मिट्टी से बने इन पानी के मटकों की विशेषता है कि ये बहुत अच्छे व पानी को ठंडा करने वाले बनते है ये यहॉं की मिट्टि का कमाल व यहॉं की शैली का कमाल है।और यहॉं आपको 80% घरों में मटकों का चलन मिलेगा ही।
जिन घरों में पुराने बुजुर्ग हैं वो तो सिर्फ़ मटकों का पानी ही पीना पसंद करते है।
