It was an evening in an Old Age home here resided parents who had spent the best years of their showering love and comfort on their children. Now they lived out their twilight years, consigned to an old age home. This is a sad and shameful reality of urban India. Homeless and abandoned, these senior citizens have made a new family here with each other in peace and contentment. This Old Age Home is managed by a selfless couple for the last seventeen years. It’s a safe and clean abode where old and abandoned parents can live with dignity and independence. 

एक शाम मेरा एक वृद्धाश्रम में जाना हुआ।
अपने ही बच्चों से तिरस्कृत ऐसे माता पिता जिन्होंने अपना सब कुछ देकर प्यार व मेहनत से पाल कर बड़ा किया उन्हीं ने उन्हें बेघर कर दिया।
सभी वृद्ध शॉंत व एक सोच में अपने जीवन की इस यात्रा को इस वृद्धाश्रम में ख़ुशी ख़ुशी अपने मित्रों संग अपनी दिनचर्याओं में जीते है।
इस वृद्धाश्रम को निःस्वार्थ भाव से १७ वर्षों से एक दमप्ति निःशुल्क संचालन करते आ रहे हैं।
यहॉं का हर वृद्ध बहुत खुश हैं व स्वतंत्र ज़िंदगी जीने का आनन्द ले रहा हैं।
