A nomadic household- a snapshot of the true meaning of the word Family

My Photowalk this winter’s morning was an encounter with the extended family of nomads or gipsies, an ancient and distinct community of Rajasthan. Every member of the family was busy fulfilling their assigned duties. Women were preparing meals and tidying up the domestic space. Menfolk and older children were filling up water needed by such a large group of people. The head of the family, the patriarch, was supervising the activities ensuring discipline and decorum within the family. The little ones of course were enjoying their childhood to the full. they were happily prancing around along with sundry domestic goats, dogs, and a couple of horses. Rajasthan nomads are well known for their music and the musicians of the family were practising their art filling the air with their happy melodies. A perfect tableau of the enduring family tradition of our culture. This robust lifestyle has provided them with good immunity and kept them safe from the raging Covid pandemic. 

खानाबदोश संयुक्त परिवार
मेरी फोटोवॉक में आज सर्दी की सुबह एक खानाबदोश संयुक्त परिवार से मिलना हुआ घर की सभी महिलाओं के काम बँटे है कोई कबीले की सफ़ाई कर रही है तो कोई खाना पका रही है आदमी व बड़े बच्चे मिल कर घर की ज़रूरत के लिए पानी भर रहे है आपस का मेलजोल व सामंमजस्य देखते बनता है घर का मुखिया सबको नियंत्रित कर अनुशासन व मर्यादा का ध्यान रख रहा है वहीं बच्चे ख़ूब मस्ती में पूरे उल्लास के साथ खेल रहे है तो कहीं वाध्धय यंत्र बजा कर ख़ुशी व उल्लास का माहौल बना रहे मुर्ग़े कुत्ते बकरियाँ घोड़े भी इस परिवार का हिस्सा है।
ये नज़ारा आपको देख कर ये लगेगा कि इतनी सर्दी में पूरा परिवार इतना ख़ुश कैसे रहता है।
इन्हे इस कोविड-19 काल में किसी को भी कोरोना ने चपेट में नहीं लिया क्यों कि इनकी इम्यूनिटी बहुत सशक्त है।
