India lives in her villages…Where marginal farmers survive on the whims of a temperamental monsoon for a meagre harvest. They compensate by working as farm labour for big landowners.  The entire family works as farmhands. They supplement their earnings rearing a few animals. Water or the scarcity of it is a fundamental challenge for the marginal farmers. Their requirement is met by the generosity of private water tankers that pass through the village twice a day.   

आज आपको ऐसे गॉंवों क़ी सैर करवाता हूँ
जहॉं छोटे छोटे काश्तकारों द्वारा बारिश के भरोसे ही छोटे छोटे खेतों में खेती होती है या फिर ये लोग किसी बडे़ खेतों के मालिक के यहॉं काम करते है ।
ये काश्तकार खेतों में ही परिवार संग रहते है व बारिश में खेती करते है और पशु पालन भी करते है जिस से इनके परिवार का उपार्जन होता है।
पानी इनकी एक बड़ी समस्या है सो कुछ पानी के टैंकर वाले सुबह शाम जब वहॉं से निकलते हैं तो वो अपने टेंकर से फ़्री पानी वितरण करते हुए निकलते हैं ऐसे इन काश्तकारों की रोज़ मर्रा की पानी की ज़रूरत पूरी हो जाती है।
