Pink City, Jaipur
This medieval city close to Delhi is one of the most famous historic urban centres in the world. It is equally famous for its culture, its cuisine, handicrafts and its hospitality as it is famous for its distinctive pink sandstone buildings. 
In today’s Photowalk, I travelled from Kishan Pol to Choti Chaupad. this part of the old city is the best place to enjoy the iconic pink sandstone architecture and the syncretic nature of Jaipur. For, the Temple, the Mosque, and the Gurudwara together welcome the devout here. The whole area is full of life. Colourful and fragrant flower shops vie for attention with the sweet shops and tea stalls doing brisk business. Rickshaw pullers trundle along carrying their passengers from one place to another; A thriving busy city on the move where the old and the new are in step with each other.
This is the first photo walk in the series on Jaipur.
