The many uses of cow dungIndian farmer rarely let anything go waste. A chance meeting with a peasant family today brought home this amazing facet of Indian life. First, there was the quintessential warm welcome with a cup of tea prepared with fresh milk. This was followed by a visit to the farm, where, the daily activities were in full swing. Farming is a family business in India. The women of the house were busy making cow dung pats. Bajra hay which is a waste product is mixed with cow dung to make this traditional biofuel for household use. And this humble homemade fuel was being set out to dry in an orderly and pleasing symmetry. Such a wholesome picture of age-old rural culture. 

गाय के गोबर का सदुपयोग-
हमारे यहॉं के किसान फसल का तिनका तिनका और गाय का गोबर तक पूरा काम में लेते हैं। आज साईकलिंग करते हुए एक किसान परिवार के यहाँ जाना हुआ।उन्होंने ने पहले तो मेरी आवभगत करी दूध में चाय पत्ति डाल कर स्पेशल चाय पिलाई फिर अपने घर व खेत में घुमाने ले गए जहॉं घर की महिलाएँ गाय के गोबर से कंडे ( छाणें ) बना रही थी गाय के गोबर में बाजरे की फसल का फूस मिला कर छाणें थोप रही थी जिन्हे सुखा कर अपने परिवार के लिए खाना पकाने के लिए चूल्हे में बतौर ईंधन के काम में लेती है।ये हाईजैकिंग भी होता है और सब वेस्ट को काम में लेकर सदुपयोग लिया जाता है ।भारतीय संस्कृति का परिदृश्य इतना मनमोहक था जिसे मैं निहारने लग गया और इन कंडों को सलीक़े से सजा कर सूखी लकड़ियों पर सुखाने का जो तरीक़ा था वो आपको भी आकर्षित करेगा ।
